Abstract

For over 150 years Chinese students have studied in the United States. Their experiences and efforts have made huge impacts on diplomatic relations between China and the United States. This thesis explores the trends over the entire history of American-educated Chinese students and expounds on the impact they have had on U.S.-China Relations.
